The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has officially introduced four new categories for donors, streamlining the privileges and institutional gifts offered to those contributing to the devasthanams’ various trusts.
The new structure scales the annual and one-time tokens of appreciation based on the donation brackets, introducing precious metal gifts for high-value contributors.
Under the newly defined categories, donors contributing between ₹1 Lakh and ₹5 Lakhs will receive an annual gift of 5 to 10 small laddus, along with a silk dupatta and a blouse piece. For the ₹10 Lakhs to ₹25 Lakhs bracket, the annual privilege increases to 15 small laddus alongside the traditional silk attire.
The offerings scale up significantly for major contributors. Donors in the ₹50 Lakhs to ₹75 Lakhs slab will receive an annual distribution of 15 to 20 small laddus and 5 to 7 large laddus, accompanied by silk clothing.
Additionally, they will receive a one-time gift of a 2-gram gold dollar and a 10-gram silver coin. For elite donors contributing ₹1 Crore and above, TTD has allocated an annual supply of 20 to 30 small laddus and 10 to 20 large laddus, alongside the silk clothing, while maintaining the same one-time premium allocation of the 2-gram gold dollar and 10-gram silver coin.
The management clarified that while the sacred laddus and traditional silk garments are recurring annual privileges, the gold dollars and silver coins are strictly one-time presentations. This new policy goes into effect starting midnight tonight.
However, in a move to protect prior commitments, TTD confirmed that all existing donors will remain unaffected and will continue to enjoy their current designated privileges without any alterations.
