Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s 350-crore budget film, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” has been declared a huge box office disaster. The film’s initial weekend earnings are estimated to be around 41-42 crores net, with a projected lifetime business of under 75 crores net.
Produced by Pooja Entertainment, headed by Vashu Bhagnani and his son Jackky Bhagnani, who recently tied the knot with Rakul Preet Singh, the banner boasts a legacy spanning more than three decades. Their journey started with blockbuster hits like “Coolie No. 1,” “Hero No. 1,” “Biwi No. 1,” and “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” in 1998.

However, their last successful venture was “Mujhe Kuchh Kehna Hai” in 2001, a remake of Pawan Kalyan’s cult blockbuster “Tholi Prema.” Since then, despite producing over 25 films, they have not managed to deliver a single hit.
It’s surprising that despite a string of flops, the banner continues to invest in high-budget productions. Many are shocked by how they haven’t gone bankrupt yet.
