After Lenin, Peddi, Raja Saab, Devara…Now The Paradise?

Nani’s The Paradise is back in discussion once again, and this time it is because of the film’s climax.

The latest buzz started after lyricist Kasarla Shyam shared a social media post saying he had just witnessed the filming of the climax and was left stunned. He even urged fans to bookmark his post, strongly hinting that the final act of the film is going to be on another level.

That has naturally excited Nani’s fans, especially at a time when the film’s multiple delays have caused some disappointment.

The Paradise was first planned for a March 2026 release, then pushed to August, and is now reportedly eyeing September 2026. So, in that sense, any exciting update from the team is enough to bring the film back into the conversation.

But at the same time, The Paradise has now joined a growing trend in Telugu cinema: the trend of heavily hyping the climax before release.

In recent years, many Telugu films have been promoted with claims about their final 20 or 30 minutes being extraordinary. Recent films like Peddi, Raja Saab, Devara, the upcoming Lenin, and several others were sold in a similar way, with the team repeatedly building hype around the climax. But in many cases, the actual payoff did not match the build-up, leaving audiences frustrated and disappointed. The bigger the pre-release claims, the bigger the backlash when the film fails to deliver.

In the case of The Paradise, though, there is one reason why fans may still take the hype seriously. Director Srikanth Odela already showed with Dasara that he likes ending his films on a strong emotional note. Even with its rough edges, Dasara had a decent second half with a thrilling climax that stood out. So, if he has really designed a solid climax here, it could genuinely become a major asset for the film.

At the same time, the team must be careful not to overdo the hype. Because once a film keeps telling the audience that the climax is “next level,” expectations automatically shoot up.

The Paradise is Nani’s biggest pan-India gamble, and after Dasara, expectations from the Nani-Srikanth Odela combo are already high. The film also stars Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni, Babu Mohan, Tanikella Bharani, and Sampoornesh Babu, with Anirudh composing the music.

For now, Kasarla Shyam’s post has done its job. It has brought the spotlight back on The Paradise and added fresh excitement around the film.

But whether the climax actually lives up to the hype is something only the audience can decide when the film finally hits theatres.
