Andhra Pradesh has been one of the most interesting states when it comes to political landscape, and this is on display multiple times in the recent past as well.
Now it is becoming extremely clear that Andhra Pradesh is displaying a very clear political path, which is almost entirely different from the rest of the South Indian states.
For instance, we have the case of Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, which have multiple parties in contention.
In Telangana, we have BRS, Congress, BJP and the newly launched TRS. The left parties also have a reasonable footprint here. It is good that the Telangana people back so many political outbacks in the region.
A similar scenario is observed in Karnataka with the BJP, Congress and JDS having a significant. In Tamil Nadu, we have nearly half a dozen parties that have representation in the assembly and Thalapathy Vijay becoming the CM in his very first attempt. Kerala also backs nearly half a dozen parties in total.
But when it comes to Andhra Pradesh, the situation is almost entirely one-sided in the favour of NDA vs Jagan. There is no reasonable existence for any other party on this front.
The alliance versus Jagan Mohan Reddy is the only factor that will decide Andhra Pradesh politics and the verdict has historically been with the alliance. In case there is an individual fight, then Jagan has emerged on the top and that is a scenario to be kept in mind.
While other states are clearly backing multiple parties and ideologies, Andhra Pradesh is looking at only two entities and it has become a monopoly these days.
