Andhra Pradesh recently highlighted its commitment to governance and development through major academic and industrial milestones. In Anantapur, President Droupadi Murmu served as the chief guest for the first convocation ceremony of the Central University of Andhra Pradesh.
Accompanied by Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and Ministers Payyavula Keshav and Nara Lokesh, the President presented degrees to over 1,200 students. She praised the institution for its dedication to diverse, quality higher education.
Simultaneously, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu began a three-day tour of the Tirupati district to boost the state’s industrial landscape. At Sri City in Satyavedu, he performed the groundbreaking ceremony for Hero MotoCorp’s new Global Parts Center.
This automotive hub involves a ₹750 crore investment and is expected to create nearly 4,000 jobs for local youth. Following this, Minister Nara Lokesh arrived at Renigunta airport to participate in administrative reviews and regional meetings.
These synchronized events in Anantapur and Sri City demonstrate a strategic governance model focused on both education and industry. By engaging national leaders and global manufacturers, the administration signaled that Andhra Pradesh is actively open for business.
