TCSTata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT services firm, has rejected accusations that it issued stern warnings to employees who do not follow its return to work policy. A TCS spokeswoman stated in a statement that the business has encouraged workers to work from home three days per week but has not “communicated or deployed linkages to career or compensation.”

The remark was sent in response to a story in the Times of India that TCS has begun delivering letters to employees who do not complete at least 12 days of work from the office in a month. According to the TOI report, the memo further said that if staff do not stick to the roster, disciplinary processes will be initiated against them.

“We are thrilled to see our campuses buzzing with activity, and we want all of our employees to be a part of that thriving ecosystem.” TCS has added a substantial number of people in the past two years. It is critical that they experience the TCS atmosphere in order to interact, learn, grow, and have fun together, hence generating a deeper feeling of belonging to the firm and facilitating greater integration,” a company representative told NDTV.

“Over the last few months, we’ve been encouraging associates in India to return to the office and work three days per week.” This has resulted in a positive outcome, with many of our individuals returning to the office.
