IPL 2025 SRH Crash Out

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s IPL 2025 campaign is officially over — and it ends in sheer embarrassment.

Their final game against Delhi Capitals was washed out by rain, giving them just one point and putting a full stop to their already faint playoff hopes.

This was a team that walked in with bold talk and bigger expectations. Now, they join CSK and RR in the list of early exits — but SRH’s fall feels far more dramatic.

Let’s rewind. SRH came into this season like T20 royalty. They had smashed the highest team total thrice in IPL 2024 and kicked off 2025 with a jaw-dropping 286-run game. The hype was deafening.

But then came the collapse. In the following 9 matches, they managed just 2 wins while losing 7. The fearsome batting quartet of Head, Abhishek, Klaasen, and Nitish Reddy suddenly looked out of sorts, jittery, and frustratingly average.

Worse than the performance was the attitude. After barely scraping past CSK, the team jetted off to the Maldives for a “celebration” — while still struggling in the bottom half of the table.

That tone-deaf move triggered massive backlash, with fans accusing the squad of caring more about beach selfies than fixing their game.

From being one of the most feared lineups in T20 to becoming a running joke, SRH’s 2025 season will go down as a masterclass in self-sabotage. They had talent. They had momentum. But what they lacked was hunger.

At this point, SRH doesn’t need another Instagram reel. They need a reality check.
