Students aspiring to study in Canada have a strong likelihood of obtaining a visa, even if their scores are not quite at the required level. This is evident in the consistently high success rate for visa applications, typically ranging from 85% to an impressive 95%, making the process relatively accessible for many.
To be eligible for a visa, applicants must pass a benchmark test, PTE, where a score of 60 is considered standard. However, recent results have observed scores as low as 57.
Despite Canada’s reputation for having an overly welcoming policy toward people from other nations, the recent tensions between the two countries have created high political tension. It all began after Canada blamed India for the death of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a terrorist.
As the countries are likely starting to move past their political complications, visa approval rates are soaring, with some centers even witnessing an increase of 18-19%.
Furthermore, the fact that both nations are prioritizing education and development over geopolitical issues speaks volumes about their approach to resolving the situation.
