H1B Visa Refused

A “Refused” status doesn’t always signify a total denial. Often, it points to administrative processing, meaning the consulate requires more time or additional documents before reaching a final decision.

Typically, the consulate returns the passport shortly after a refusal, but the timing can vary. Some applicants receive theirs back within a week, while others may experience longer waits based on their individual circumstances.
