Saif Ali Khan’s Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins was released on Netflix last month. Although it has received negative reviews, the film has managed to create some record in terms of viewership.

Despite getting negative reactions, Jewel Thief has undoubtedly turned out to be one of the biggest hits for Netflix in terms of an original Hindi film.

On the other hand, it has also raised a question on why people are not showing the same interest in theatres. Films like Kesari Chapter 2, which received a lot of praise, are flopping at the box office, and Jewel Thief is making new records for viewership on an OTT platform.

A few filmmakers tried to revive the old days by making some entertainers that can impress anyone. The list includes titles like Jawan, Pathaan, Gadar 2, Animal, Chhaava, and more.

Considering the ongoing situation of Bollywood, it is the right time for the filmmakers to understand the taste of the viewers who enter a theatre.

Every theatre owner and distributor are facing losses, and in case people don’t want to witness the end of the Hindi film industry, they have to change their ways of filmmaking.
