The series, while its premiere was marketed as a Hindi web series, it turns out that nearly 90% of the dialogues are in Tamil, leaving the non-Tamil-speaking audiences heavily dependent upon subtitles.

While authenticity of the storytelling is important and we absolutely respect the regional roots of the subject.

In “The Hunt” , the overusing of Tamil language makes it hard for a large section of the audience to stay engaged.

Instead of focusing on the scenes, the audience is finding themselves constantly reading subtitles, often missing key scenes.

Audience’s also aggering that 10-15% of regional language can help preserve the authenticity, when it is said that the series is a hind series but turns out to be a different language it becomes more like a task rather than an experience.

The issue here isn’t about language pride, it’s about clarity and viewer experience.

Either give the audience proper dubbing or market it as a Tamil series with clear subtitles.
