Kesari Veer, starring Sooraj Pancholi, Suniel Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi, is in its promotional phase ahead of its worldwide release on May 23rd.
Along with this, it also appears the film is engaging in multiple paid promotions online, as several accounts have been posting paraphrased tweets and content praising the film.

The story follows Hamirji Gohil, a brave warrior who fought against the Tughlaq Empire to protect the Somnath Temple and uphold the Hindu faith.
Sooraj Pancholi plays the lead role, and the film comes across as overtly jingoistic, with patriotism practically dripping from every frame of the trailer, filled with excessive shouting and screaming.

Many social media users have commented that the film looks like a B-grade production, citing poor VFX and a general lack of excitement around it.
However, while the public doesn’t seem particularly interested, the BJP government appears to be highly enthusiastic about the film.

During its promotion, CM Devendra Fadnavis called Kesari Veer a “must-watch” and encouraged everyone to see it, praising its trailer and highlighting how it addresses an important part of Indian history.
His comments sparked backlash online, with many users accusing the BJP of promoting films that align with the party’s ideology as part of a larger propaganda effort.
Users drew parallels to past releases like Emergency, Samrat Prithviraj, Adipurush, and The Sabarmati Report — all of which were heavily promoted by the government yet failed at the box office.
Critics argue that the government is less concerned about the quality or craft of these films and more focused on the themes they promote, particularly those tied to religion and nationalistic narratives that support a specific public image.
The audience is smarter than many give them credit for. They don’t appreciate being treated like children or being force-fed shallow, over-the-top content masquerading as patriotism. They are quick to identify and reject such efforts.
