Artificial intelligence (AI) can now create photos that look incredibly real, almost like they were taken with a camera. These AI-generated images are used a lot on social media, in ads, and in news stories.
But they can also cause problems because they can be changed easily to show things that didn’t really happen. This can lead to fake news and privacy issues.
Recently, a photo purportedly showing Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan together at Anant Ambani’s wedding went viral. However, it was quickly debunked as an AI-altered image and not authentic.
The image stirred nostalgia among fans, especially since the two actors shared a significant on-screen romance in the 1999 hit film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”.
Their relationship off-screen was tumultuous and widely publicized, marked by reported conflicts and Aishwarya’s eventual separation in 2002, citing issues of possessiveness and disagreements with Salman.
This situation shows how powerful AI can be in creating fake pictures that can trick people into believing something that isn’t true. It’s important to be careful and check if pictures are real or made by AI before believing everything we see online.
