Andrew Tate, the self-proclaimed misogynist social media personality, is once again embroiled in controversy, this time involving an Indian American doctor. A heated exchange of tweets between the two ignited a fierce online brawl and trolling from their respective supporters.
The issue began when Andrew Tate posted a shirtless photo on Twitter. In response, Dr. Kirti Patel, a medical professional, commented that such a body type is more suitable for gay men and not what women desire. She drew from her own dating experiences, stating that a bulked body conveys aggression and narcissism, qualities preferred by gay men.
Andrew Tate took offense to her remark and, along with a picture of her, tweeted, “I’m super disappointed that I’m not attractive to you, Kirti.” He then took a dig at her facial features, saying, “I was only trying to make my arms as big as your nose.”
This triggered a backlash from Kirti Patel and others, leading to a series of online trolling from both sides. It’s concerning that Indians often become targets for stereotypes by individuals from other countries. Such behavior seems unnecessarily harsh, perpetuating negative perceptions.
