The Ministry of Justice has made it clear that the state government and the High Court should come to a joint decision on the relocation of the High Court.

The Justice Department has given a written reply to the question of MP Talari Rangaiah. It said that if the state government and the High Court send a joint proposal together, the central government will consider it.

A Supreme Court bench comprising Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Bhela M Trivedi recently announced that it would not take up the hearing of petitions on the Amaravati issue before December.

That means the issue will not be resolved before the coming elections.

This reply of the Central Government about the High Court shift means another issue is not going to happen.

It is unlikely that the High Court will agree to the Government’s proposal when the three capitals issue is under legal scrutiny.

Jagan Government is very much aware that this will happen when it first mooted the idea of three capitals. But still brought the proposal to create a divide among the people.
