There are currently four cases registered against iBomma Ravi. The Nampally Court has granted 12 days of remand, with police allowed to question him for three days in each case.

From Thursday onwards, cyber crime police began questioning Ravi. During the inquiry, they confirmed that he operated a Telegram channel named HD Web for piracy activities.

Police revealed that Ravi collected amounts ranging from $200 to $300 from viewers for access to pirated movies. These payments were linked directly to the illegal distribution network.

Films such as HIT, Thandel, and Kishkindapuram were pirated using the same method. The iBomma platform caused losses worth crores to the Telugu Film Industry and the wider Indian film industry.

Authorities recently blocked iBomma as part of the crackdown. Police sources said they were determined to arrest Ravi after he openly challenged them to catch him.

Investigators tracked Ravi after learning that he would travel to Hyderabad to meet his estranged wife regarding divorce issues. Surveillance was placed, and Ravi was taken into custody.

During the 12-day remand period, cyber crime police aim to gather detailed information. The focus is on understanding the piracy process and tracing financial transactions linked to the case.
