The CBI has officially announced the completion of its investigation into the Vivekananda Reddy murder case, leaving many shocked. During a hearing in the Supreme Court, the agency informed the bench that there is nothing pending from their side and stated, “We will abide by any orders you give.” The matter has now been posted for hearing on the 19th. Legal experts suggest that this development could help Avinash Reddy and other accused argue against cancellation of their bail, as they can claim there is no longer a risk of influencing witnesses.
However, while the CBI has wrapped up its probe, several critical questions remain unanswered. Who actually killed Vivekananda Reddy, and what was the real motive behind the brutal murder? How did Jagan Mohan Reddy and Bharathi know about Viveka’s death hours before it became public? Who informed them? Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy was reportedly active on WhatsApp before and after the incident — who was he in touch with, and what role did he play?
Serious doubts also linger over financial aspects of the crime. Who was willing to spend ₹40 crore for this murder? Who arranged ₹1 crore each as advance payment for the four individuals directly involved in the killing? After committing the crime, why did Sunil Yadav (A-2) go to Avinash Reddy’s house? These connections raise more questions than answers.
Adding to the controversy, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s efforts to protect Avinash Reddy and his father Bhaskar Reddy have drawn attention. At one point, the CBI was unable to arrest Avinash despite having grounds to do so. If he had no involvement, why did Jagan go so far as to shield him and even file cases against CBI officers investigating the case? These actions have only fueled speculation about deeper political links.
The CBI claims it has completed the investigation, but whether they have all the answers with solid evidence remains unclear. If they do, why haven’t corresponding arrests been made? For now, the public is left with more questions than clarity, as the mystery surrounding the Viveka case continues to haunt Andhra Pradesh
