The seat adjustment discussions between TDP and Janasena in Andhra Pradesh are progressing, and there have been multiple meetings between the leaders of both parties, including two meetings between Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan. It appears that they have reached a preliminary understanding regarding the allocation of seats and candidates.
With the anticipated announcement of the election schedule in February, there is a shared goal to address any dissatisfaction by revealing the seat adjustment details in the first week of February. Both parties are keen on ensuring a smooth alliance for the upcoming elections.
Pawan Kalyan has already declared his intention to contest from two seats – Rajalu and Rajanagaram. However, some decisions, particularly the unilateral announcement of candidates for Mandapet and Arakula by Chandrababu Naidu, led to internal dissent within the Jana Sena party.
Reports suggest that TDP and Jana Sena have reached a consensus on the allocation of seats and have a preliminary understanding of the candidates. Negotiations with the BJP are ongoing for an alliance with the Jana Sena party, causing a delay in the formal announcement of alliances.
There are rumors that Pawan Kalyan might travel to Delhi in the coming days. Despite this, both parties are expected to make a joint announcement regarding alliances and seat adjustments in the first week of February. Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are scheduled to meet again to discuss the seat allocation issue.
Preparations are underway for a joint campaign, and TDP plans to commence rallies in the remaining parliamentary constituencies from February 4. Pawan Kalyan is set to begin his tours from Anakapalli on the same date. The leaders hope to hold state-level meetings jointly, and further clarity on these plans is expected in the early part of February.
