Vijayasai Reddy’s lawyer G Ashok Reddy argued on the former MP’s behalf. After hearing the argument, the court postponed the hearing to today.
Meanwhile, the High Court stated that despite the CBI court’s improved enquiry in cases involving public representatives, it has not been satisfactory.
The magistrate noted that summons were issued to only 11 accused and 9 witnesses in the last month. Additionally, there are no records indicating that these individuals were questioned or any verdicts were delivered in those cases. Thus, the High Court termed the enquiry as not satisfactory.
