A passenger recently shared a frustrating experience with Ryanair Airlines over unfair luggage charges. Their carry-on bag was flagged as oversized, even though it met the airline’s size limits and had been accepted on previous flights.
Charged for a Service Never Used
After being asked for card details, the passenger was told the crew might still allow the bag onboard. Though the bag was permitted, a charge was later applied for a hold luggage service that was never used. Complaints to Ryanair were rejected without resolution.
Issues Continue on Return Flight
The trouble didn’t end there. On the return trip from Marrakesh, two more carry-on bags were marked oversized, despite having passed easily through Barcelona earlier. When questioned, the staff blamed “Moroccan rules” and allegedly spoke in a rude, dismissive tone.
Passenger Calls Out Ryanair
Feeling misled, the passenger accused Ryanair of price-gouging and poor customer service. After this ordeal, they vowed never to travel with the airline again. The incident once again highlights Ryanair’s ongoing issues with inconsistent luggage checks and hidden fees.
